Donald Joseph Qualls - better popularly known as DJ Qualls - is a actor, model, and producer from the United States. His fame was sparked by his appearance in Road Trip. Since then the actor has been in 20 feature films, such like The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 shows on television like Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14 and has been fighting this disease since. He was able to get rid of his cancer within two years. The body of his was greatly affected by the treatment and the development of his body was slow down. Since he grew up in the poverty of his home, he longed to achieve financial stability. When he was interviewed, he said that if I don't achieve the financial security or find myself feeling out of control in the world, then I'm going to be unhappy. He reflects on his youth and feels an urge to do something against bullying. DJ states "Cruelty causes pain to my soul." He says that his ideal role would be to portray dads in the real world and on film. DJ admits that directors don't want to cast his character in these role. In the future, he'd love to have a baby to allow him to devote less time on his career and more time to his child.
